Dot is the first work in 12 Inner Symbols, a series that isolates the recurring symbolic forms of Human Garden world and presents each of them as an independent artwork.

The Dot represents presence in its most compressed form: the smallest visual unit capable of holding potential. Within the symbolic system of Human Garden, it marks impulse, beginning and origin — the moment before movement acquires direction and before possibility becomes visible form. It is the seed, the spark and the first act of concentration.

Across cultures and systems of thought, the point has repeatedly appeared as a sign of origin: from the bindu in Hindu and Tantric traditions and the monad in Pythagorean philosophy to the first mark of drawing and writing. On a psychological level, it can be understood as intention before action; somatically, as the subtle inner impulse that precedes movement.

Within Human Garden, the Dot does not remain confined to this individual work. It reappears throughout the visual world — around forms, within structures and alongside other symbols — functioning as a recurring unit of potential, attention and emergence. In this way, Dot operates simultaneously as an independent artwork and as part of the visual vocabulary through which Human Garden world is constructed.
