Bio

Here, I trace the path that shaped my artistic language and the intellectual foundations of my practice. It reflects the experiences and studies that formed the system within which I work today.

Tania Bond is a Ukrainian-born visual artist based in Ireland, working in her authorial style of Naive Symbolism. Her practice explores territory as a living structure — where nature, culture and memory form a unified system of meaning.

Her artistic language was shaped by several parallel foundations: early observation of nature, studies in archaeology and cultural symbolism, academic training in drawing and composition, and many years of professional work in brand design. Archaeology introduced her to land as a carrier of historical memory. Design formed her structural thinking, rhythm and sensitivity to visual codes. Cultural studies deepened her understanding of symbols as universal carriers of collective experience.

After relocating to Ireland, she continued developing her studio practice and began forming a coherent artistic system. In her work, flora, fauna and natural forms of specific territories become symbolic structures through which identity, heritage and emotional memory are revealed.

Today Tania develops an international project of emotional cartography — creating series dedicated to different countries, where each body of work functions as a symbolic map of place.
