12 Inner Symbols form the symbolic vocabulary of Human Garden world. Each work isolates one recurring sign from the world and examines it as an independent visual and archetypal structure.
Together, the twelve works create a symbolic system through which states of beginning, movement, connection, transformation, containment and release can be read across Human Garden world. The same signs reappear throughout its paintings, objects and other project forms, carrying meaning from one work to another.
The series is accompanied by the Atlas of Inner Symbols, developed within the method of Emotional Cartography in Naive Symbolism.
