Ukrainian Naive
This section documents an important stage in the formation of my artistic language. Through the study of Ukrainian Naive painters, I explored the expressive power of symbolic form, decorative structure, and visual storytelling. These works are not presented as finished artistic statements, but as research — an essential step that eventually led to the development of my own visual language and the Naive Symbolism method.

About Artwork:
The Blue Bull in the Night belongs to the period in which I explored Ukrainian Naive art while searching for my own visual language.
Created as part of my study of Ukrainian Naive art, this painting was inspired by Oksana Yavir’s Night, itself conceived as a homage to Maria Prymachenko. This work became part of a practical exploration of how symbolic imagery, ornament, colour, and rhythm shape emotional expression within the Ukrainian Naive tradition.
Rather than reproducing the original, I reinterpreted its visual language through my own artistic decisions. I adapted the composition, colour palette, ornamental rhythm, and decorative details, gradually introducing elements that would later become characteristic of my own practice.
Today, this painting remains an important document of the research process that eventually led to the development of my own artistic language and, later, the Naive Symbolism method.
